One of my favorite beaches in the United States is Ruby Beach. A natural beach within the Olympic National Park on the coast of Washington state. It is a place where I let go.
I choose a driftwood tree to sit on and watch as the ocean greets the sea stacks. My bare feet rest on the sea washed stones as I ground into the earth. The cares of the world are prompted to be released by the sun on my skin or the breeze flowing through my loose strands of hair. This is where I remember my days are short and serenity can be lived.
